Face The World offers short-term cultural homestay programs for groups of students to visit the United States and experience life in America with a host family. Whether they are students from the same school, club, or youth group or just a group of students from the same country, Face The World can customize a group homestay programs to suit their interests.

Group Programs can:

• Be 2 to 6 weeks in length
• Have participants aging from 13 to 21
• Include school visits
• Include English classes and/or cultural activities
• Include specially requested activities

All Group programs include (but are not limited to):

• Volunteer host family accommodations
• Transportation to and from international airport
• 1 full-day excursion per program week
• 2 half-day activities per program week
• Welcome and farewell parties

Individual Immersion Programs for Students . . .

Individual foreign students can spend 2 to 6 weeks living with a volunteer host family in the United States. Students must be between the ages of 15 and 20 years of age. Up to 6 students can be placed together with host families in the same community.

This program does not include planned activities, excursions, and English classes.

Individual Immersion Programs include:

• Transportation to and from international airport
• Volunteer host family accommodations
• A Program Coordinator to assist the student in finding activities, sightseeing, and getting around the host community
