Maria in North Carolina
Hosting an exchange student from Spain was one of the best decisions our family ever made. We were initially nervous about the idea of welcoming a stranger into our home, but as soon as we met our exchange student, Maria, all of our worries disappeared.

From day one, Maria quickly became a part of our family. She shared her culture with us, taught us about her home country, and even taught us how to cook traditional Spanish dishes. We had so much fun together, exploring our city, trying new foods, and making memories that we will cherish forever.
